Donation Requests
Chick-fil-A Fort Pierce is an active community partner in the city of Fort Pierce. We strive to be good corporate citizens and wish to leverage our business to help the city of Fort Pierce grow and thrive.
We love giving back and we’re proud to be a community partner. We are happy to consider one donation per year, per tax-exempt charitable organization (under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code). Requesting organizations within our community must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual.
Due to the high number of requests our Community Connections Committee reviews requests during its monthly meeting, on the first Monday of each month. Therefore, requests must be received a minimum of one month in advance of your event in order to be on the agenda for review. Please note our committee reviews each organization’s tax filings on Guidestar.org. If there are no filings to review, the committee will be unable to consider a request. We will contact the requestor at least one week prior to the event if the committee approves the request.
In general, Chick-fil-A Fort Pierce provides non-monetary donations such as food, which must be picked-up by the requesting organization, if approved. If requesting a donation, it is important to note the time of day/day of week of your donation request (including holidays). Donation requests are less likely to be approved if requested during a time or day of increased operational tempo in the business, as to not adversely affect the customer experience.
